This week explores how the mind begins linking present experiences to the past. When the mind judges, compares, or needs to be right, it begins gathering evidence from past experiences to support a particular point of view.
In this week, you will explore how attachment to thoughts links the present moment to past emotional patterns.
When the mind attaches to a thought, it can activate what we call LES Loops:
L – Limiting Belief - A belief formed in the past that you believe to be true.
E – Emotional Pattern - The familiar emotional state connected to that belief.
S – Strategy - The coping behavior developed to manage the emotional experience.
In the final week, you will bring everything together. You will learn that alignment is always available beneath attachment. When thoughts are observed without attachment, old beliefs remain dormant and emotional patterns lose their influence.
